Jo Charles

Jo has lived in New Plymouth for 3 years now and absolutely loves it.  While growing up in Auckland, she had a strong urge to travel.  Spending 6 years in London, Jo enjoyed seeing the world, and whilst there completed an Interior Design Diploma at Westminster University and obtained her London City of Guilds design qualification. 

When returning to NZ, Jo joined the travel industry and has spent 20+ years mainly based in front line sales, progressing to senior leadership level and becoming a Regional Manager.  Jo says that “delivering the best customer experience by really listening to your clients, understanding their needs and then implementing a plan which ticks all of their boxes” is the most important thing.  With Jo’s interior design background, she is passionate about delivering ‘functional design’.  She is a clear communicator, structured, organised and a great asset to our New Plymouth team.

In 2012, Jo built her own new home in Auckland so she has been through the whole ‘build journey’ herself and understands the complexities.  Jo moved to a lifestyle block in Taranaki in 2020 where she now lives with her husband, teenage boys and dogs.
