Coastal cool kitchen in a new Matakana build

Tucked away in a new build in Matakana is a gorgeous kitchen that invites you to make a coffee, pull up a stool and bask in the sun.
Created by Kitchen Story for Signature Homes Rodney & North Shore, the hub of this home is oh-so-cool.
A full back wall of cabinetry in Melteca Possum Pearl grounds the kitchen into its space and is complemented by crisp whites and oak laminate flooring.
The wow factor of this kitchen is the rounded island bench which is finished with vertically stacked antique white bar tiles. The cute bookshelf at the end of the island houses colourful cookbooks and indoor plants.
The benchtop of Trendstone Neve Quartz gives a subtle marble finish which is repeated in the splashback, and the clever positioning of a picture window ensures the space is constantly drowned in light.
Rather than adding a scullery this simple kitchen design has multiple floor-to-ceiling cupboards for pantry space and extra storage. A bench seat was also built in French Oak in the dining room.
While this home is brand new, the finishes and colours selected add character, personality, and heart.
